CDC's Recommendations for COVID-19 Vaccinations

There has been a transition from the monovalent vaccines that were first given in the past as a primary series of vaccinations with periodic updates, to now just a single bivalent dose for most people. Persons 6 years of age & older without moderate or severe immunocompromise are recommended to receive a single COVID-19 vaccine. Adults 65 or older also have the option to receive 1 additional bivalent vaccine dose at least 4 months or longer after receiving the most recent bivalent dose. Those 6 months of age or older previously vaccinated and moderately or severely immunocompromised have the option to receive 1 or more additional bivalent doses at least 2 months apart.                                      Please see the CDC website to review the most recent updated indications, guidelines, and information about COVID-19 Vaccines:    https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/clinical-considerations/interim-considerations-us.html#recommendations
